Find out how we can work together

Henner offers their beneficiaries the largest choice of medical services throughout the world. The objective of the Henner medical network is to facilitate access to care at preferential rates through Henner’s direct billing arrangements.

Our direct billing arrangements apply to both inpatient and outpatient care. This is a real advantage for our beneficiaries and healthcare providers alike. Depending on the rules of the beneficiary’s healthcare plan and the country in which they are located, Henner will pay you, the medical provider, either the entire medical expense, or the remaining amount after copay has been applied at the time of service.

To join the medical network you have to complete the accreditation process. This includes an assessment of your facilities and services by one of our network coordinators. Every new potential provider is carefully evaluated based on the following selection criteria:

  • Training and skills of medical staff
  • Technical capabilities
  • Type and comfort of accommodation
  • Ability to implement direct billing procedures, and the possibility of collecting co-payment from the patient
  • Preferential prices

On-site visits also allow us to fully assess the medical services offered to our beneficiaries.

Selected providers will be invited to sign a direct settlement arrangement, stipulating the applicable prices and the procedures to be applied when receiving Henner beneficiaries who are eligible for direct billing. As such, we strive to improve access to care and maintain the cost of healthcare by monitoring the services provided and the prices applied to our beneficiaries.

Benefit from the constant follow-up and guidance of our International Network Coordinators

Henner is headquartered in Paris, France, but we have further offices and local correspondents in 29 locations worldwide. Our local presence, combined with the cultural and linguistic skills of our multicultural teams are major assets in building successful, long-lasting partnerships!

Our network coordinators also ensure constant follow-up, training and assistance throughout the course of the partnership, maintaining regular contact with providers to ensure smooth cooperation.

To this end the following methods are used:

  • Regular calls to the main providers: each coordinator keeps regular contact with the main providers of their portfolio to ensure smooth cooperation.
  • Information bulletins are sent to the providers reminding them of our procedures, informing them of new clients, etc.
  • Provider visits: although not systematic, visits are part of our communication strategy. Every year we meet with some 250 providers to assess the possibility of adding or keeping them in the network.
  • Conferences: the International Network Coordinators organize conferences several times a year in different countries to list the healthcare providers in a specific area.

Moreover, an annual survey is conducted amongst the providers to collect updates on medical capabilities, gather their suggestions on our processes and assess their satisfaction with the partnership. The latest survey conducted in December 2012 showed that 76% of the providers considered their partnership with Henner good or even excellent. Our development strategy will also take into consideration the suggestions from our clients and their members, who are regularly invited to share their feedback through a dedicated website, satisfaction surveys, etc.
